Sleep in my family

Snoring, difficulty sleeping, night-time symptoms and medical history: information about your relatives can help you prepare for your appointment, whatever your age.
Enter what you know, without naming relatives or trying to make a diagnosis. You can also do this with a family member.

Sleep in my family
Sleep-related breathing disorders can occur in several members of a family. Knowing the family history helps the doctor guide the assessment; it does not mean that other family members will have the same disorder.
Choose a person in the tree, then expand the sections and tick the signs or medical conditions you know about. Then indicate whether they have been observed, diagnosed or are uncertain.
Family relationships are shown in relation to the person attending the appointment. For an adult, these are their own parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. For a child, these are their parents and siblings. Branches that do not apply can be left blank.
No names or contact details are requested. Your answers are neither sent to the clinic nor saved by this tool. They will be lost if you reload or leave the page: print the summary to bring to your appointment.
The text in each box shows its status; you do not need to distinguish the colours to read the tree.
